Set up by QUT architecture students Mark Thomson and co-working architecture students from the University of Queensland including Caroline Stalker ( Co-editor of Versions Magazine)and musician in the band The Stinsons) and writer/musician Tony Moore (Bands including Dog, Fish Cat, Bird).

Studios and meeting rooms for artists, architecture students and was instrumental in assisting with space for artist Wendy Mills 1983 installation, A Temporary Affair and Lyndall Milani’s installation in 1984,Institute of Modern Art Annexe, Brisbane, Landscape 1: Mandala, John Mills Himself Artist Studios (1983-1987), That Contemporary Art Space in 1985 and John Mills National Artist-run space in 1986.
