The ARI Remix collective acknowledges and respects the traditional and ongoing custodians of the lands where we live, make and work. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded. We support the Uluru statement from the heart.

ARI Remix is a living archive; LGBTQIA+, cis, non-binary, trans and BIPOC inclusive, and involves active participation and collaborative collecting engagement by artists, artsworkers, co-creatives, peers and artist groups. It is an enthusiast-led, community-based, non-profit and art ephemera study resource and Web 2.0 art work #ariremix. It is made entirely possible through immense kindness, generosity, volunteerism and collaborative collecting efforts of over 300 Australian artists and significant arts philanthropy;

PROJECT ONE - Stages One & Two
of this project are supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and have been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body. Stage Three of this project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

Wow, deepest gratitude and kudos to Next Door ARI at the Woolloongabba Sub Station [Community Space] . Thanks so much Next Door ARI and all the inspirational activists and artists involved at the recent Backyard: Zine Fair 2021, what a fabulous turn out and such a joy to know that zines and zine making are so lovingly alive and well ( and being collected by artists) in the Brisbane Meeanjin artist-run ecology - it was terrific to have such meaningful chats with artists about EXTRA Issues #1 and #2 and the 2015-2016 ARI Remix "The Scene" Issue art zine edited by artist, designers Brian Doherty and Jane Richens...slowly working now in the artist studio with a messy messy messy collage in the making of ephemera and bits'n'pieces for Issue #3 for this Spring planning for another soft launch somewhere local in November 2021.... remix.org.au/extra-zine-issue-2-launch-backyard-zine-fair-august-2021 ... It hasn't changed the way I see art. How can it?

Artist Erika Scott completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Art) with Honours at the Queensland University of Technology in 2010. Scott was a founding director of the Artist Run Initiative ‘Accidentally Annie St Space’ and more recently runs projects on a rooftop (The Soylent Spot) in Red Hill.
