Tobias de Maine was directly involved with several Queensland-based ARI projects including:

– MODUS STUDIOS, 2000 – 2001, an artist-run 2 gallery 13 artists studio space, dedicated to emerging contemporary visual art, situated in Dogget St, Fortitude Valley.

– No 9 Gallery, 2001 – 2002, An emerging contemporary artist-run gallery in Duncan St, Chinatown, Fortitude Valley.

 

As a Queensland- based artist at the time Tobias was educated at the Queensland College of Art – Griffith University / Queensland University of Technology and was working in various media including: Painting, Sculpture, Installation, Audio & Digital Media and in his professional practice, my key themes and interests included:

 

The human computer future interface, The digital environment, reality hacking and experimental soundscapes.
